Women's Ministry

Welcome to Christ Community Fellowship's Women's Ministry!

shepherd with sheep

"I myself will tend my sheep and have them lie down, declares the Sovereign Lord. I will search for the lost and bring back the stray. I will bind up the injured and strengthen the weak."

With Christ as our model, and Ezekiel 34:15-16: providing our guidance, our ministry is devoted to shepherding women. We seek the Lord's guidance in all things, waiting for HIM to open the door so that we may join HIM where HE is working.

What is our Ministry of Shepherds about? We focus on relationships and connection. We equip and release. We spend much time on our knees on behalf of our women. We come alongside each other to pray, encourage, support and hold accountable. We reach out to the lost women we know, and who come to us through our outreach efforts. In other words, we're about being available on a one-to-basis to extend grace and demonstrate to women the agape love of Jesus.

Our Vision. Allow Christ to live in us and work through us, so that we may lavish others with God's extravagant love through His Word, relationship and unity.

Our Mission. Equip and release women to minister, serve, and bless others as we see where God is working and join Him there.

~ Our Leadership Team ~

We wait on God to raise up members for our Leadership Team, thus ensuring that each has a heart for women, and is spiritually gifted for her area of service. Each of us is committed to daily prayer for our church body, for our ministry, and for our women.

The Leadership Team meets the first Thurs. of each month at 5:30 at the church. Our focus is prayer, equipping and releasing. To make sure we're in tune with the needs of our women, we ask the following questions at each meeting: Are we missing anything? Are we keeping in touch with what Gods want us to look for and deal with? Where is God working, and how can we join Him there?

~ The Shepherds' Corner ~

Through the body of Christ Community Fellowship, God has blessed us by providing our Women's Ministry with a lovely space. The Shepherds' Corner, located at the south side of the building near the Music Ministry office, is a warm and inviting room we use for Bible study, prayer, meetings, one-on-one consultation, and solitude. You're invited to come in and curl up in a comfy chair or among the floor pillows, or spread your study materials out on the table. Our prayer is that you would find it a place of peace, solace and comfort.

So bring your cup of coffee or tea and your Bible or books—put some praise music in the CD player and…consider yourself at home!

~ Shepherd Partners ~

We have divided up the list of our CCF women among the Leadership Team. Each shepherd is responsible for committing concentrated time every day to praying for her women, keeping in touch with the women on her list, and being available to come alongside as needed. So someone is praying for YOU every day!

Helps Network Ministry

Matt. 7:12 “So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them…”

The objective is that we are a body of believers. And a body functions best when all of its parts are “ well and taken care of”. As a body, we can come alongside those in need and ease their burdens. This extends beyond those that are ill, but those that are alone, elderly, grieving, in financial need, in family crisis, etc. Many of us have talents and abilities that can help meet a need of our members. Someone might need to have yard work done, a ride to a doctor’s appointment, pet sitting, house sitting, help moving, etc., particularly at times where a person may be suddenly incapacitated, an unexpected death in the family or crisis situation. We’d like to form a resource network of those of you that are willing to offer help or services to others as needs arise that you may be available to help with. Catherine Jackson will be the coordinator. You can sign up to help in the foyer, or contact her at cathjacksonatfcbhmail.org If you need assistance, you can reach her by email, or call/text to 301-8831.

For we know that as we give to others, we are also blessed!
